1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of fanorate.com and any associated content, features, and services (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Brillmark LLC ("Fanorate," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of California, United States.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 should use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Editorial content and recommendations

Fanorate is an independent editorial publication covering sports — including soccer (with launch focus on the 2026 international soccer tournament), and, over time, cricket, basketball, tennis, baseball, the Olympic Games, and other sports our readers follow — along with the licensed fan apparel, equipment, and merchandise associated with them. We publish reviews, buying guides, match and event previews, and gift guides. The content on the Site reflects the editorial judgment and opinions of our writers and editors at the time of publication.

Our editorial process uses AI tools with human editorial oversight. Fanorate is a research-led publication. We do not perform in-house product testing, and we do not produce original product photography. Our articles are built by synthesizing publicly available information — manufacturer specifications, authorized retailer listings, published consumer reviews, and sports-media coverage — with the assistance of AI research and drafting tools. Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. AI tools can occasionally produce inaccurate or outdated detail; while we work to catch these issues in editorial review, you should not treat any single statement on the Site as authoritative. The Site does not provide professional advice. Nothing on Fanorate constitutes medical, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Our coverage is informational and editorial in nature. Always consult a qualified professional for individual advice tailored to your circumstances.

Product information may change. Prices, availability, sizing, materials, retailer policies, shipping options, and product specifications change frequently. While we update our content regularly, we cannot guarantee that every detail in every article is current at the moment you read it. Always confirm the relevant details at the retailer before making a purchase.

4. Affiliate links and third-party retailers

The Site contains affiliate links to third-party retailers. When you click an affiliate link, you leave Fanorate and enter a third-party website, which is governed by its own terms and privacy practices. Fanorate is not responsible for the content, products, services, pricing, policies, or conduct of any third-party retailer or website.

Our affiliate relationships are disclosed in detail in our Affiliate Disclosure. Briefly: we may earn a commission when you make a purchase through one of our affiliate links, at no additional cost to you.

We do not handle order processing, payment, fulfillment, shipping, returns, refunds, or warranty service for any product. Those are the responsibility of the retailer you transact with. If you have a problem with an order, please contact the retailer directly.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including articles, reviews, photographs taken by Fanorate, graphics, logos, layouts, and the Fanorate name and logo — is the property of Brillmark LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share via social media, and link to articles on Fanorate for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of Fanorate's content without our prior written permission.
  • Use Fanorate's content to train machine learning or generative AI models, including by scraping the Site, without our prior written permission.
  • Use Fanorate's name, logo, or branding in any manner that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement we have not granted.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any part of the Site.

Brief quotations of Fanorate content, attributed and linked to the source article, are welcome and consistent with standard fair use.

6. Third-party trademarks

References on Fanorate to any league, national federation, governing body, tournament organizer, host city, host venue, event organizer, apparel or equipment manufacturer, retailer, or other third party are made for editorial and informational purposes only. All trademarks, service marks, and logos referenced are the property of their respective owners. Fanorate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations.

7. User submissions

If you send us a tip, correction, comment, story idea, photograph, or other material (a "Submission"), you grant Brillmark LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, edit, publish, and distribute the Submission for editorial purposes, with attribution at our discretion. You represent that the Submission is your original work, that you have the right to grant this license, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

Do not send us confidential information you do not want us to use. We do not accept unsolicited story ideas with the expectation of payment.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe any intellectual property right or other right of any party.
  • Transmit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • Transmit any material that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or any connected system.
  • Use any automated means (bot, scraper, spider, crawler) to access or collect content from the Site without our written permission.
  • Use the Site or its content to train machine learning or generative AI systems.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Site for any conduct we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR CURRENTNESS OF ANY CONTENT.

YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRILLMARK LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, AND THE LIMITATIONS ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Brillmark LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or any third party's rights.

12. Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate retailer links. We provide these links as a convenience and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, products, services, policies, or conduct of any third-party site.

13. Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Brillmark LLC regarding the Site.
